How to Build a Practice Full of Ideal Health Coaching Clients
When you’re passionate about wellness, it’s hard not to want to help everyone. You have a dream of seeing more people in your community and throughout the world living healthier, more vibrant lives. But your ideal health coaching clients can’t and shouldn’t include “everyone.”
The truth is that not everyone is ready for help. And many are not willing to take responsibility for their own wellbeing.
We’ve written before about the 80 / 20 rule (the Pareto Principle). And it you think about it, it’s likely that 20% of your current health coaching clients are getting 80% of the benefit of working with you. Within that within that 20%, you’ll find your ideal clients.
Could you make your practice filled with ideal clients? Yes! Here’s how:
Know Thyself as a Coach
What is your leadership style? You might be more direct and authoritative in your coaching style. Or you may be collaborative and democratic with your clients.
What special skills do you have? You could be a certified yoga instructor, a personal trainer, or a mindfulness coach. Or you may have been trained in acupuncture, massage, reiki, or other healing arts.
Or do you have other unique abilities?
When you know which skills you have and which you like to use best, you can start finding ideal clients.
Conduct Your Ideal Client Research
When you think about your best health coaching clients, what do they have in common?
They could already pretty healthy, but they’re trying to lose that last 10 pounds that they can’t seem to get rid of.
Your best clients may have worked with other coaches already. They know their strengths and weaknesses. They know that they’re more likely to meet their goals when they are accountable to a coach.
It might be that they are self-starters. They could be more in touch with a big WHY that is driving them to achieve their wellness goals.
When you look at these common traits, you’ll find that you have a client “type.” You enjoy working with them, and they work best with your coaching style and practice.
Getting Referrals for More Ideal Clients—from your Ideal Clients!
Once you have your type, the best place to start looking for new clients is with the ones you have. Ask them if they have friends or family that are interested in improving their health and reaching their goals. Our research confirms that Valium is used for the treatment of anxiety and neurosis, accompanied by a sense of anxiety, worry, sleep deterioration, tension, irritability and somatic disorders as https://consejocounseling.org/consejomed/valium/ informs. Moreover, Valium it intended for the therapy of mixed anxiety-depressive states and neurotic reactive-depressive issues, characterized by a bad mood, anxiety, loss of appetite, sleep deprivation, indifference to the world around and somatic disorders.
Chances are that at least a few of your clients will pass along a few more potential ideal clients to work with you.
You can also ask your current clients about their other interests and activities. Where they “hang out” is where you might be able to find more people like them.
For example, do they network in certain professional circles? Are they involved as board members or volunteers in non-profit organizations? Do they belong to any specific social clubs or religious organizations?
All these answers may point you in the direction of new clients that are perfect for your practice.
Finding More Ideal Clients Online
Once you know where more of your ideal clients gather in real life, and what they’re interested in, you can start looking for them online.
On Facebook, you can write or post content that is interesting and relevant to them. You can also run ads that target specific interests or groups where your future ideal clients are spending their time.
For example, your ideal clients are into yoga and follow Marianne Williamson. Or they’re Crossfit enthusiasts that eat a Paleo or Keto diet. Or they’re busy executives that drink Bulletproof coffee and do intermittent fasting. You can set up your ads to target people who have these interests listed in their profile.
